Catching up: FBCW Shortlist Times Two!

Ok, ok, so I’m sad about the fact that I didn’t make it to the top two positions… but I’m quite thrilled that I made the shortlist in not one, but two categories in The Federation of BC Writers latest contest: https://bcwriters.ca/2023LiteraryContest

My flash fiction story, “The Match,” and my short story, “Wave Runner,” both were shortlisted, meaning that they will both be published in the anthology Roots to Branches. I’m quite happy about that, especially since I’m working on a new collection of short fiction with a theme that both of these stories fit nicely with.
