PNWA EVALUATIONS IN THE MAIL TODAY

color sucker punch2

I just got my evaluations back in the mail today for two of the three categories I entered in the PNWA contest this year. One set was for the creative nonfiction / adult short topics category, and I scored 92% and DIDN’T MAKE FINALS!

The other was for a literary novel category, and, you guessed it–I got a score of 92% and DIDN’T MAKE FINALS!

Talk about FIGHT TO WRITE–Yowtch!

Wham! Right in the kisser! This is the same conference whose POETRY contest I WON last year (2012), but I didn’t have any poetry that wasn’t already committed to a contest (and worthy of the competition) for this year. I’m still waiting to hear how one other manuscript did. I know it didn’t make finals, but now I’m wondering if I have the 92% curse this year…sigh. Time to ice the bruises…
